Hi all. We had a long day today
starting warm-ups at 8:45am with 2 pickup games at Artesia Park. We then
moved over to the Huntington Beach Sports Complex for two later games. I had
a pretty good day at the plate going 4 for 9 (.444), with a 3 singles, 1
double, a Sac Fly, and a ROE. I pulled in 2 RBI's and 1 run. I had some
other good hits that were shagged or fielded. Tomorrow we have another 3
games at Worthy Park.
Defense was a bit rougher, there were a lot of good hits today. The last game I had one hard grounder bounce and hit me, that hurt a bit. We lost that game by a run in the last inning. It was getting pretty cold those last games, but we had fun. So far I thing were having a pretty good fall season. My dad says i'm hitting in the 300s. This weekend is the last showcase, there were a lot more colleges at the games in HB. We saw CSUB, CSUF, UCLA, and a few more watching our game and the Choppers on the field next to us. Although we don't have really early games tomorrow i'm gonna crash cause i'm pretty tired. 11/4 - Today we have 3 games at Worthy Park against EV Pride Gold, Berkley Bears, and So Cal Wicked. |

Hello, It's Sunday the 27th and we just lost our opening game in elimination against Synergy. I had 2 AB's and got called on a HBP, and before that pulled a lead off triple to begin a rally and end the inning tying the game back up. Unfortunately my next AB was the HBP. I really wanted to hit and felt zoned in the batters box today. I pulled a double play on a line drive to 3B yesterday going back to second to catch the runner off. I was real happy because my dad came back from a business trip on Thursday to Portland. I like having him watching my games, and missed him while he was gone. He walked around PSU campus and brought some pictures back for me since we couldn't arrange to go up and visit the campus. He also brought me back a PSU sweater. He says it is real pretty up there in the fall, can't wait to see the pictures developed.
